Rides
We have a programme of rides, most of which start locally, though a few start further afield, e.g. in the Peak District. Distances vary.

Monday/Wednesday Rides
These rides meet on weekday evenings during the summer months from various points within Stockport. They will mainly be off-road on easy paths. Both Monday and Wednesday rides will be the same giving members a chance to choose the evening. Distances will be 8-12 miles.
Saturday Rides
These rides provide easy rides of a little longer distance than the Wednesday evenings – suitable for members wishing to progress or for those who cannot make midweek rides. Covering distances usually between 15-20 miles, many will use traffic-free paths and canals, etc. Most rides are suitable for mountain bikes, hybrids, and road bikes with tyres with reasonable tread – no racing wheels.
Sunday Rides
These rides will be mainly on-road on quiet lanes. The rides will be approximately 30 miles. There will be a lunch stop, probably a pub lunch, wherever possible. Riding will be at the usual club pace and we hope this will offer an opportunity to go a bit further.
There is a standard charge of £2 per adult per ride—children are free.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult who is responsible for their safety and riding ability. Children must wear a safety helmet.
Lifts for the Saturday and Sunday rides can often be arranged.
